Clip2Prompt (“the App”) respects your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Prompt titles and prompt text
- Images you attach, including cover images and OCR source images
- Tags
This information is stored only in your personal Apple iCloud container. The App operator does not operate a separate server for your prompt data and cannot access that content.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Firebase Analytics: anonymous usage statistics such as screen views and feature usage frequency. The App does not collect personally identifying tracking information such as IDFA for analytics.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): device information, such as IP address and advertising identifiers, may be sent to Google to display ads. See Google's advertising policies.
2. How We Use Information
- To save prompts and sync them through iCloud within your Apple ID container
- To analyze app stability and usage patterns through Firebase Analytics
- To display ads through AdMob
3. Storage and Deletion
Prompt data you enter is stored in Apple iCloud. The App does not keep a separate copy. If you delete the App's iCloud data from your iCloud settings, it will be removed from your devices.
4. Gallery CDN
The Gallery downloads public, curated prompt metadata and representative images from our content delivery network. Those requests may be processed by the delivery provider with standard technical data such as your IP address and device request information. Your personal prompts are not uploaded to that service.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not sell or share your prompt content with third parties. It uses the following services:
- Apple iCloud for storage and sync
- Google Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage analytics
- Google AdMob for advertising
6. External Links and Deep Links
Completed prompts may be sent to ChatGPT, Gemini, or related websites when you choose to open them. Text sent to those services is handled under each service's own privacy policy. The App does not store the text after it is sent.
7. Your Choices
- You can delete the App's data from iCloud settings at any time.
- You can limit ad tracking in your device privacy settings.
